monday

Levi and I got to spend the day with my sister.
It was great.
We haven’t spent much time together lately.
She is a busy lady.
I had a list of some things I needed in Wichita.
She was really sweet and just came along to hang out.
We started the morning off with some Starbucks.
So good.
I needed some new sunglasses.
I left mine at the park while we were in Colorado.
My sister thought these looked like me.
Nice.
She sent this picture to Joel…
who proceeded to send it back to me after editing it using his new favorite app…
Fat Booth.
Again, nice.
Let’s just say that app makes me never want to gain weight.
It is not a good look for me.
We found some good clearance items.
That is always very exciting.
I tried on a bazillion pairs of jeans.
I really wish they made a length between ankle and regular.
That length would be perfect for me.
Anne and Levi watched me try on the bazillion pairs of jeansΒ
and told me which ones looked good.
Levi is getting his six month pictures taken tomorrow.
I am hoping to get a few family pictures too,
which is why I needed new jeans. :o)
By the afternoon Levi was worn out.
Poor guy.
Thanks for hanging out with me Anne.
Aren’t sisters great??

  • Laura Ann - Levi reminds me so much of my son. His little hair is just like Gavin’s was for a long time, sweet boy.

  • Carrie - Fat Booth! That right up there with coming home and asking “What have you been doing all day?” However, I doubt he meant harm, so let him off with a warning and one of those, you have nearly escaped death, looks. πŸ™‚ReplyCancel

  • Stef - sisters ARE amazing! When we moved to WA, I was instantly away from all my family, but today, my little sister is making the drive up here and she’s going to be living here! I can’t wait πŸ™‚

Also, any morning started with Starbucks and continued with Target = a great day πŸ™‚ReplyCancel

  • Marie - Ha! You are going to laugh at this silly comment, but I’ve worked for babygap for almost 5 years and only just now realized that the petite length is that perfect length! I am not sure of the exact measurements, but they are only sold online. The rise is a little bit shorter and they are only about a 1/2 in shorter in the waist.

I love your blog Jess. I am always excited when you’ve updated.ReplyCancel

  • The Tesdalls - I love Levi…he’s so cute!!ReplyCancel

  • The Macons - I can’t wait to take my little girl shopping, I mean I do now but she normally melts down while I have a too small shirt wrapped around my head and pants around my ankles, you know at the most convenient time!ReplyCancel

  • Michelle - I agree, having a sister is quite a blessing! πŸ™‚

Good luck on your search for the perfect jeans. πŸ˜‰ I always seem to find what I’m looking for when I STOP looking for it … hopefully you’ll have luck before then. Ha!ReplyCancel

  • Janae - I agree with you on the jeans length! Random question, but did your sister used to work at GAP? If so, I worked with her and she is a SWEETHEART!!! BTW, I know Amanda (grew up with her and her sister) so that is how I found your blog. πŸ™‚ReplyCancel
