levi {ten months}

Hey Levi, can you show Mama how big you are?
How big is Levi?
Sooooo BIG!
How big is Levi?
{Mom, please don’t bother me. I’m playing with a stick}
Sooooo BIG!
{Okay, if you’ll cheer for me I’ll do it again}
Yeah, Levi!
These pictures perfectly capture you at ten months. You are so big. Twenty three pounds and seven ounces to be exact. I am building some serious muscles by carrying you around, but I love all those baby rolls of yours.Β
You are active to say the least. You are crawling, pulling up, walking behind things, and even have stood by yourself for almost a minute! You are entertained for usually a few minutes and then are onto something else. You crawl all over the house and have even managed to crawl up a few stairs. Nothing is safe within your reach.
You know lots of tricks. You clap, give high fives, wave, and show us how big you are. You like to perform and you really like when people clap and cheer for you. You like to make people laugh too. I think your personality is going to be a lot like your dads. That is a good thing…he is a lot of fun!
Eating and sleeping are two of your best skills. You sleep about twelve hours at night. You still take two naps, but your morning nap is getting shorter and shorter. You definitely know how to put food away. You are still eating mostly baby food, but some table food too. You really will eat anything we put in front of you. It makes you pretty mad if I am eating something and won’t give you a bite. You haven’t quite figured out how to drink out of a sippy cup, but we are working on that.
You say “dada”, “mama”, and “bye-bye”. Usually you are saying “dada” over and over again all day. You love your dad. You still get so excited when he gets home. You know the sound of the back door opening and race to see him. You get a huge smile on your face when you hear him call your name.
You LOVE to be outside. I think you would stay out there all day if I would let you. You crawl all around the yard exploring and trying to sneak things into your mouth. You love picking up dirt, leaves, and sticks. You already know how to get dirty…you are all boy.
I can’t believe you are ten months already Levi. You are getting so big.
