home made lovely

For those of you that have been asking for a home tour…this post is going to make you very happy. 🙂  I am the featured blogger for Heather’s Home Made Lovely series today. Head over to Heather’s blog and you can see a little tour of my home. I am wishing my house was as clean as it was in those pictures right now. A clean house only lasts about five seconds around here with two little boys running and crawling around. 🙂

Thank you! The paint is washable so we just wipe the walls, the couch has been easy to keep clean and very kid friendly, wood floors are a must, the white chairs in the living room are really the only thing that have been impossible to keep clean…I should have had them slip covered instead of upholstered. 🙂

  • Tanya - Oh Jess,
Your house has plenty of time to be clean. It happens when your babies are grown! Enjoy your silly, noisy, sweet boys and all the messes they make. My mom gave me a plaque when my now 32 year old son was an infant. The last part of it is, “Quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep, I’m rocking my babies and babies don’t keep.”
I’d trade a clean quiet house, for a noisy messy baby anyday! 🙂
Your home is lovely. God bless!ReplyCancel

  • Tiffany - Your home is beautiful! So warm and welcoming…a refuge for sure! Do you mind sharing where you got all the white frames in your dining room? I love that wall and have been wanting to do something similar. Just having a hard time tracking down frames that I love. Thanks!ReplyCancel
